Manual and CNC Machining
Manual machining allows D.A.S. the flexibility to manufacture custom parts that do not require mass quantities. When large quantities are necessary, D.A.S. can manufacture standard or custom parts via CNC.
CAD/CAM Capability
When machining custom parts, D.A.S. generates Solidworks CAD drawings, converts them to Surfcam programs, and conducts a full part simulation prior to sending programs to the machines. This “proofing” process prevents programming errors, and allows D.A.S. to work faster. In addition, D.A.S. has a full system backup daily to ensure programs and prints are kept safe.
D.A.S. can machine parts from either a customer supplied sample part, print, or specified dimensions.
