D.A.S. Service Receives Variance Requested – May 1, 2017
D.A.S. along with its contractor Dan Van Gordon of Van Gordon Construction presented at the Board of Zoning Appeals Monday May 1st, 2017 to explain the request for a variance on the backside of D.A.S. Services’ property located at 2130 W 175 N in Angola. The reason for the variance was to obtain a 10 foot setback to the property line replacing the current requirement of 25 feet. After presentation and complete review by the Board of Zoning Appeals, a vote was obtained 5 to 0 to grant the variance to D.A.S. This now allows us to continue to explore a desired building expansion of 60 x 75 feet onto the back of our existing building. As the press repair and manufacture business expands for the company, the additional space and higher ceiling height is required.
